First day back on the bike since the accident. Felt a bit strange at first but after 10 minutes all was back to normal. Ran into large swarms of lake flies…

Riding bike = hit and run accident
Well, it’ll be a few days until I’m back on the bike. Hit and run accident with a car last night. Came up quickly from behind and took me down. Pretty much a ‘shove’ off the road. Nice, large, swollen raspberry on my left hip and smaller one on my upper lip. Entire body is very sore and stiff.
As far as my bike, not too bad. In the shop for a new chain, have both wheels trued, brake hood fixed and overall inspection.
Was helped but a few nice people who happened to see the accident/me on the ground.
As far as the car, didn’t get the plates…..
